My walking/travel shoes have worn out and are falling apart after a couple of years of heavy use. So I'm looking for some new ones! I usually buy the same thing on repeat, but I can't get them or anything directly similar anymore :( So much for my usual "buy the same thing over and over again so I don't have to think about it and I know I like it." So I've got to find something new that's going to work as a comfortable walking and travelling shoe.
In this video, I have gotten the Florsheim Venture Knit Plain Toe Oxford Sneakers to try. I'm trying them on and sharing my first impressions and review for the purpose of all-day walking and travelling.

Uh oh, I went road tripping and forgot that my camera time doesn't change automatically like my phone! Now I've got photos on my phone and camera across three timezones with different timestamps. Never fear, Adobe Lightroom is here!
Adobe Lightroom has a handy set of tools to bulk update the timestamps on your photos. Here's how to make it work!

The OBD port in the 2014 Suzuki Alto hatch is one of the easiest OBD ports to access of any car I've seen. It's also one of the least pretty if you have something attached to it. Beware of bumping it.

Mystery Island is a beautiful tropical island at the Southern end of Vanuatu. No one lives on it, though many travel across on days when cruise ships visit. You can find some beautiful photo spots, and the water is a beautiful blue, but like any tropical island, the weather is prone to rapid change. In one day we had sun, dark clouds and heavy wind, rain, and pouring rain, back to overcast, and then sunny again. It's hard to really be prepared for it, but probably best to ensure that anything you take off the ship with you is ok to get wet!

This 188 hectare park is located approximately 11.5km’s from the heart of Sapporo was designed around a pyramid motif by Isamu Noguchi and has obtained the rating of #1 thing to do on TripAdvisor. The question is though, does it warrant that rating and should it be on a tourists list of places to see? We visited towards the middle of the Japanese Summer, the beginning of August.

Depending on when you are driving and whether or not you find the windscreen HUD on the new VF Holden Calais annoying, you may wish to change the brightness of it. This is an easy task to do using the dashboard controls.

On our last cruise aboard Radiance of the Seas we had a day docked in Picton, New Zealand. That means you get a bonus cruise through Queen Charlotte Sound on the way in. While it isn't the same as a local shore excursion that gets you much more up close and personal with the sound, it is a beautiful sight to see. Enjoy :)
