Video (2 hours) of the speech of Hitler when Germany had defeated French and British troops and let them escape back to the UK. Hitler outlined his proposal for peace, no further demands, which was refused by the allies who has set out for a 3-year war to repay investments in their own war industries.

'The video features Adolf Hitler’s ”Victory Speech” on July 19, 1940 in the Reichstag, Berlin, following Germany’s victory over France and her allies, the British. The speech is his narration of the war from the German perspective, who/what caused the war, reasons for his actions and a final call to stop hostilities and senseless bloodshed. The English narration is laid over Hitler’s voice. Tape noise in the beginning could not be removed.
To my knowledge, no actual video of the speech itself is available; only audio and text. It was necessary, therefore, to compile still images and actual historical film footage and quotes from that period.
At the beginning, I have included an introduction from the original German newsreels which show Hitler’s dramatic arrival at the Reichstag, amidst the victory celebrations in Berlin. The voice of original German commentator intact described the scenes as Hitler arrived. The German narrator then gives a short summation of the Fuehrer’s speech, you see some prominent figures in attendance, and get a sense of the jubilant atmosphere. The speech was transmitted live via more than 1,000 radio stations to some 30 different countries around the world.
Hitler addressed the Treaty of Versailles and his efforts for a peaceful resolution to the unjust dictates of that treaty, and how Germany and the world as whole had suffered from it economically. Hitler then explained why it was necessary, in self-defence, to invade Poland in 1939, based upon Polish aggression, being fomented and agitated by powerful interests in France and England.
Despite subsequent declarations of war by Britain and France, and even while Germany was making great progress in Poland, Hitler explained that he had been willing to accept mediation as proposed by Mussolini, but that the allies wanted none of it. Hitler then felt compelled and justified to pre-emptively invade the neutral Norway to stave off the Brits and French. That was followed by invasions of Holland, Belgium and Denmark in the Spring of 1940 in order to protect Germany from military encirclement and assault. Hitler said, the evidence showed that these countries were not behaving as neutral countries by defending themselves against the British and French. He then explained how the British and French had been planning to invade those 'neutral countries' in order to attack Germany. He said that the documents later found in France, proved there was a long standing conspiracy for war against Germany, and to incite war in Balkans and other places. Hitler detailed the victory over the French, and how he destroyed the invading British Expeditionary Force at Normandy.
A highlight is when Hitler explains that in France, a Wehrmacht soldier, while searching train cars, found a top secret French document. The German High Command hence discovered diplomatic documents which detailed all of the allies plans, war agenda and names of the allied leaders who had signed off on it. German intelligence agents in the UK had overheard phone conversations of “the British war mongers”. He also lampooned Churchill, for his boisterousness and bad decisions that led to several British military disasters. Hitler described the allied leaders essentially as stooges for International Jewish and Freemasonic interests.
Hitler took credit for protecting Germany and the overall war plan, and praised his General Staff, party comrades. He paid tribute to Mussolini, and the Italians and detailed how well-prepared and united Germany was, stating he was still convinced of Stalin’s integrity on their friendship pact of August 1939 for security on Germany’s eastern frontiers.
He outlined that he had never wanted war. He lamented the death and destruction that would surely come if the allies pursued war. He reiterated his fear that the allies would again characterize his humble and sincere appeal for peace as a sign of weakness, and use it to further their war agenda. Still he made a final appeal for peace, reason and sanity.
Original German newsreel footage is used (without sound) on related events. The final 30 minutes contain original footage of the ‘Battle at Dunkirk’, the complete annihilation of the British forces and thousands of bewildered French troops captured or surrendered. They were being humanely treated according to the Geneva convention. One of group of British soldiers captured /surrendered in Norway explains in English what happened and how good they were treated. Note how friendly the situation was, totally contradicting the image of “evil Nazis” we learned and hear from Hollywood.'
