Dwarven Diplomacy and Western Mt. Sabre... Let's Play Crystalis, Part 2!
In this episode, we've just made it to Brynmaer and it looks like we're going to need the help of the Dwarves in the Great Swamp to move forward. Unfortunately, they despise humans, so we're going to need to win them over first. Once we do, we should be able to head to the western part of Mt. Sabre.
In this episode, Thanatos has raised the Mana Fortress and is going to revive the Mana Beast to destroy the world! We're headed to the Mana Tree, where the fog has cleared and the last hope to revive the Mana Sword and prevent catastrophe!

Okay, we're not going to let Mustadio die this time! We're back at the Bethla Garrison Sluice, in hopes of putting at least a temporary end to this war! We have some very stubborn wizards to take out this time, and then we're headed to Limberry! Had lots of fun chatting with everyone this time, too!

We're headed into the ruins east of Northtown, where we saw Phanna last time. Is Dyluck there, too, or is this another wild goose chase? The ruins mean a lot of tough enemies with strong magic and good dodge, and who knows what the Empire has planned for us!
We're in the Murond Death City, hot on Vormav's trail. He has plans to use Alma as a vessel for his evil false saint master, and we're going to stop him! Or are we?

We're headed back to Igros Castle today to try and save Alma and maybe there's something we can do about Dycedarg's plot. We can expect heavy resistance, especially with Zodiac stones in play...

Here's one of my favorite adventure games on the SNES--Secret of Mana (a.k.a. Seiken Densetsu 2)!
Oh man, this game is great: lovely, colorful graphics, beautiful music, a unique visual style, and a fun little story! It's not too hard, not too easy, has smooth controls and is a ton of fun!
Come along with me as we explore this awesome world!
The third level of the Deep Dungeon was pretty tough, so I thought I'd go around and do some more random fights and bar quests. Kind of a relaxed episode, but as usual those bar quests have a lot of cool stuff! Once we level up a bit, we'll head back into the Deep Dungeon!

Area 3 is home to a variety of mechanical monsters, an extremely useful mobility mod for Sofia, and possibly the catchiest tune in the game! Plus, it's a huge area of machinery and metal only a little ways below ground--how did we miss it all this time?!
Now that we've finished the game, we need to do some sidequest hunting! The fabled fight with Cloud from FF7 must be available somewhere! We finish up a few sidequests in the Northeast, but then I remember about the robot in Goug! Also I discover that the "Brave Story" part of the menu has a whole lot more information than I realized! So, a little more work to do, then we're headed to Goug Machine City!
