US Air Force role in the 1962 nuclear tests in the Pacific. These were the last atmospheric nuclear tests by the USA before the Partial Test Ban Treaty in 1963. Some of these tests took place during the Cuban Missile Crisis (and the USSR was conducting nuclear tests at the same time).
