The bulk of my Houston show opening for MC Router. I think the best track just might be my cover of 'Green Heaven' (RHCP) over a Morcheeba track 'Tape Loop'.
The most infamous of my shows. I was blacked out drunk. I'm not exaggerating. I woke up for the beginning of the second song, and asked why we were starting with it. I was told I had already done the first song! The Beauty Bar was screwing us over, cutting our sets, etc. and I just lost my shit on them. Cursing, throwing my drink at the wall.
But I never blew a line, even though I did the same verse twice...
So, MC Router doesn't really like me a whole lot. Maybe it was Las Vegas. Maybe it was the diss track. And I opened for her, without her knowledge or permission. I gave her a chance to bury the hatchet, and she didn't want to, so I had to do my song about her in front of all her fans.
A medley of about 8 songs, I think, including 'Kill Bill Gates', and 'Shake Hands With Danger'.
I was drunk by three p.m. for the first Nerdapalooza, so naturally I tried to do a new verse with Emergency Pizza Party. Halfway through, I blew my lines, and the scene deteriorated into chaos.
"It's me, High-C, not Nancy Pelosi / Goth as a fashion died with Bela Lugosi"...
Sir-Up, Betty Rebel, MC Wrekshin, High-C.
The night after my infamous Beauty Bar show. I was barely high, but at least I didn't have a hangover. It was the 30th Anniversary of the Consumer Electronics Show, at the Divx booth. I think I paid for about ten nerdcore MCs to perform, and another 5 or so showed up on their own. Good times. It was the day MC Plus+ and Monzy buried the hatchet and did a song together.
