Over the past few months there has been a lot of controversy surrounding the cryptocurrency Verge (XVG). On March 22th they announced that they had arranged a partnership. And that was the only detail given. To unlock the rest of that information, including who this mystery partner was, the creators of Verge were requesting $16?M (75m XVG) in the cryptocurrency. The reasoning they gave was that they had a non-disclosure agreement, and that is the amount of money they would be liable for if they released that information early.
But that date came around and there was news of an actual partner released, and that partner happens to be PornHub. Check out the video for more details!
The Chicago blockchain community is gathered on December 8th, 2017 to hear some of the most influential blockchain voices in Chicago. The night's goal was to demonstrate some of the technology behind the recent rapid gain in value of bitcoin, ether, and cryptocurrencies in general!

In this episode of WTF is, we cover Cosmos!
Cosmos is its own blockchain that is specifically designed to help interconnect non-related blockchains. Even though many chains use different programming languages, Cosmos intends to act as a "translator", creating interoperability between chains by eliminating the programming language barrier.
Cosmos has two main goals. Interoperability and Scalability. While more and more blockchains are finding success, Cosmos is getting ready to unite several blockchains, achieving a new level of convenience and efficiency.
The Cosmos blockchain will use a hub and spoke model, with several zones running parallel to the Cosmos chain. Cosmos has its own cryptocurrency, Atom, but it is only used for staking, mainly by each zone. Current zones include OmiseGo and EtherMint.
Will Cosmos be the great uniter of blockchains? Let us know your thoughts below in the comments section!

Part of the confusion around what is blockchain versus what is cryptocurrency is due in part that the terms have come into use. Instead of being introduced by formal definition, the term blockchain developed from “chain of blocks.” Cryptocurrency is a sort-of portmanteau of “cryptographic currency.” But the fundamental difference between these concepts has to do with how distributed ledger technology is used. Our video gives you the run down!
