According to Judicial Watch as per yesterday’s Breitbart, at the same time that Lois Lerner of IRS fame was slow-walking the 501c3 applications for conservatives and Christian groups across the nation, the IRS was fast-tracking an “After School Satan Club” in Tacoma, Washington.
The After School Satanist Club of the Point Defiance Elementary school applied for 501c3 tax-exempt status on October 21, 2014, and the IRS approved it 10 days later – ironically on October 31, 2014 – Halloween.
The school district was apparently guided by the Equal Access Act, passed by Congress in 1984 and affirmed as constitutional by the Supreme Court in 1990. The intent of the original act was to open schools to an after-school Christian curriculum designed for elementary school children called the Good News Clubs.
Under the Act, any federally funded secondary school that allows a non-curriculum related student group, such as the Girl or Boy Scouts, to meet on school premises during non-instructional time creates a limited open forum for student groups. Such schools cannot discriminate against other non-curriculum related student groups:
“… on the basis of the religious, political, philosophical, or other content of the speech at such meetings.”
Westside Community Schools v. Mergens, 496 U.S. 226 (1990).
Good News Clubs then exploded, by 2011, over 3500 out of the nearly 5000 clubs met in public schools. Working mothers found the clubs to be a blessing that prevented them from either having to take off work early or hire day care to fill the gap between school letting out and 5 pm.
In 2016, the After School Satan Club was started by the Satanic Temple of Seattle. According to their website:
“It’s important that children be given an opportunity to realize that the evangelical materials now creeping into their schools are representative of but one religious opinion amongst many.
“… the twisted Evangelical teachings of The Good News Clubs robs children of the innocence and enjoyment of childhood, replacing them with a negative self image, preoccupation with sin, fear of Hell, and aversion to critical thinking.

Shocking News from Fox News as Veteran Newscaster Gretta Van Sustern Host of On the Record Abruptly Quits, alarming the Broadcast industry.

And so it begins; the destruction of the most influential voice in conservative America - Fox News – has begun.
Gretta Van Sustern has left the Fox News lineup after 14 years with the network. Beginning today, her show, “On the Record” will be hosted by Fox stalwart Brit Hume in its usual 7 pm time slot.
Since the sudden departure of Roger Ailes, the network’s new co-presidents Jack Abernethy and Bill Shine made the announcement about an hour ago (about 9:30 am EDT).
Gretta just disappeared after last Wednesday’s sit down interview with Green party candidate Dr. Jill Stein.
The show was hosted by Martha MacCallum on Thursday and Kimberly Guilfoyle on Friday.
Gretta’s exclusive interview with Ivanka Trump has been running over the Labor Day holiday weekend.
No one knows what happened, but it was sudden and you could see in Gretta’s demeanor in the last few days of her show. Something had changed – for the bad.
An hour ago Gretta finally checked back in with the world with a no-news Facebook post that seems to indicate she is taking a new turn in life.
Other interesting pieces of the Fox puzzle: Megyn Kelly has been shopping herself around for a new job via a high-powered agent.
Rupert Murdoch and his sons are suddenly backing out of the Fox News limelight in the wake of loads of negative publicity via the recent New York magazine piece.

Just a quick note, our website connection to PayPal was knocked out about 2 weeks ago due to my own fault. I changed the email address associated with our PayPal connection away from my old AOL email address – you remember – that company that owns the Huffirgton Post.

The last holdout elements of the Republican leadership are now quickly falling in behind the party’s new leader, Donald Trump.
Senate leader Mitch McConnell, spoke at a Capitol Hill news conference yesterday and acknowledged what every Trumpster has been saying for months now – Trump is pulling in new voters by the hundreds of thousands and the mainstream Republican party would be foolish indeed to not embrace him.
Besides McConnell stood Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming, Sen. John Thune, of South Dakota; and Sen. John Cornyn of Texas in a show of solidarity.
The announcement came just hours before conservative columnist Bill Kristol announced that he has a third-party presidential candidate lined up for the #NeverTrump movement.

So far today by 2 pm, no candidate has surfaced. If Kristol is successful in mounting a third-party candidate, that is just about the only thing that could ensure a Clinton victory in the fall.
So why does Kristol seem hell-bent on the destruction of the United States under a Clinton regime?
Well, as it turns out, his magazine, “The Weekly Standard” was owned by Rupert Murdoch – the same person who ordered Megyn Kelly to attack Trump during the first GOP debate.
After Murdoch bought the Wall Street Journal in 2007, his interest the million-dollar-a-year losing proposition began to fade and Murdoch reportedly sold it.
Murdoch then had a much bigger megaphone into the American body politic to preach his open- borders message. From that point on, the once beyond-repute WSJ began a long, slow decline, and this election cycle even stooped to paying for advocacy polling in an attempt to hold Trump down.
This morning, McConnell said on MSNBC’s Morning Joe news show:

Good evening, I’m still reporting on politics.
With the departure of Scott Walker from the Republican presidential race, and Jeb Bush still declining in the polls, the Republican establishment is placing heavy bets on the two major anti-Trump candidates left – Carly Fiorina and Marco Rubio.
Just remember that Rubio was the leader of the Gang of 8 – which supported essentially open borders to undercut the wages of middle class Americans to provide bigger profits for Facebook and Microsoft – oh, and Miss Fiorina’s former employer, HP.
So let’s see if she ever mentions the Gang of 8 in a negative context during her run.
But guess what else he is famous for in the U.S. Senate? He cast the deciding vote that allowed FastTrack to pass 60 to 37.
Oh, and guess what else? Rubio’s staff will still not say whether Senator Rubio actually read the bill – ever!

“It’s completely irresponsible. If you want to change international business, and commerce in general, for the next 50+ years, you need to know what’s in it. You’d think after the ACA failed so miserably without being read, our Senators would have learned their lesson.”

The troll-like anti-Trump skywriting campaign financed by an Alabama millionaire, has been stopped cold by one of their biggest clients.
The 5 skywriting planes had flown from LA to the site of the NCAA Football National Championship game between Alabama and Clemson. They were to take to the ail over the stadium in Glendale, AZ and fly until dark, writing out their anti-Trump messages, but then came a telephone call.

Undocumented Illegal aliens can now join the U.S. military and after a single day in a war zone be granted full rights as a U.S. citizen thanks to a vote in Congress last week.
All the Democrat members of the U.S. House of Representatives had to vote for it – PLUS 30 Republicans as well to get it passed through Congress.
In the end every single Republican vote was essential because the measure passed by a one vote margin – 210 to 211.
The program Military Accessions Vital to the National Interest – or MAVNI, originally was created to help the Pentagon recruit foreigners legally in the county for jobs requiring language or cultural skills. The program was then expanded to allow medical professional in.
According to Rep. Paul Gosar – a Republican from Arizona:
“The MAVNI program allows citizenship to be granted to any enlistee, who serves one day of wartime service,” he said. “MAVNI was never intended to be utilized for the benefit of illegal aliens.”
It is suspicious to me that at a time that the Pentagon is being forced to cut American military personnel due to budget cuts, that they are being forced to take in totally undocumented illegal aliens into the services.
How are the DOD clearing agencies going to handle security clearances when an undocumented person has no history to investigate? Are they going to give them a SECRET clearance and just hope for the best? That would be totally insane!

The Ted Cruz – John Kasich alliance announced with great fanfare on Sunday quickly broke down when a Cruz insider leaked a confidential memo telling Cruzbots to ignore the warning not to vote for Cruz in the Oregon primary to be held on May 17 and the New Mexico primary held on the last day of the primary season, June 7th.
Cruz & Kasich announced that Kasich would stop spending money in Indiana if Cruz would stop spending money in Oregon and New Mexico in a hopeless attempt to stop the Donald.
But, in a letter addressed specifically to freshman Congressman Mike Nearman of Oregon, Cruz justified his double-cross of Kasich thusly:
