After the conviction of FK blogger and CopBlock.org founder Ademo Freeman on three felony counts of "wiretapping", Manchester liberty activist William Kostric approached prosecutor Michael Valentine and told him that he was going to go home and wiretap the police and send Valentine the evidence.
Kostric has followed through on his promise, and here's the proof. The video below includes his original promise to Valentine and the actual call to the police where he in no way indicates to them that he is recording.
Will Valentine prosecute? Kostric has done the same thing as Ademo and has even rubbed Valentine's nose in it. If Kostric is prosecuted, it will allow him to take on the same ridiculous charge with a different approach and new jury. If he's not prosecuted, it will be further proof of the arbitrary nature of the "justice" system. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMy9JGuWivA
What happened to the cannabis decriminalization bill that overwhelmingly passed the house with more than 80% of NH state reps voting for it? In an embarrassing display of ignorance, watch as multiple NH senators spout off various prohibitionist lies and nonsense in this hearing that came at the end of a 12-hour day for liberty activists at the state house. Despite initially having enough votes to pass the measure, prohibitionist senator Carson moves to strip some more from the already-crippled bill. This ultimately kills it, for political reasons.(Technically it's "tabled" until 2016.)
The good news is this is the first time the NH senate has ever had a floor discussion on the issue (the house has passed decrim six times in eight years), as ignorant as much of it was, it's a step in the right direction. The next step is to target the bad senators for either education or elimination in 2016's election. More detail on what happened below the video, from someone who was with me witnessing the debacle.

This video features Alu Axelman's speech to the NHexit rally outside the Ballot Law Commission meeting, the meeting portion relevant to Karen's complaint against the state reps, Rep Santonastaso's interview with NBC Boston, and the activists confronting Karen when she left the building. Story below from [NHexit.us](https://nhexit.us/2022/08/25/commission-votes-5-0-dismissing-karens-complaint-against-pro-independence-reps/):
Wednesday was a big day for the New Hampshire Independence movement. Not only did [Karen Sue Steele’s attempt to disqualify the “Independent Thirteen”](https://nhexit.us/2022/08/22/actual-karen-demands-pro-independence-state-reps-be-barred-from-office-commission-hearing-set-for-8-24/) from the ballot fail by a 5-0 vote of the Ballot Law Commission, but more importantly, the NH Attorney General’s office weighed in with their official position.
Specifically, assistant attorney general Kevin Scura who sits as an advisor on the Commission, was asked to speak to Karen’s complaint. Karen’s email to the Commission had claimed the state reps were in violation of the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution. The Scura made it clear that “insurrection” and “rebellion” – as cited in the 14th Amendment – involve the use of violence. This is what those of us advocating for peaceful independence [have been pointing out](https://nhexit.us/2022/04/26/nh-independence-bill-sponsor-speaks-out-destroys-anti-secession-arguments/). A ballot measure is using the democratic process to change the system, not open violence.
Karen had claimed that insurrection doesn’t necessarily involve violence and further went so far to make the laughable claim that simply speaking words against the government would qualify as “giving aid or comfort to the enemies” of the “United States”.
The commission stated clearly that they had no jurisdiction over constitutional questions, and voted 5-0 to dismiss Karen’s complaint. That’s great news, but it was also great news that dozens of NHexit supporters came out to support independence and even more importantly, the mainstream media was present. Curiously, the media was nowhere to be found when [CACR 32](http://www.gencourtmobile.com/2022/CACR32/Text) had its [public hearing earlier this year](https://odysee.com/@FreeKeene:2/NHexit-Historic-Hearing-CACR32:8), or when the [state house voted on it](https://nhexit.us/2022/03/12/full-video-of-cacr-32-state-house-floor-discussion/), but as soon as a Karen showed up to start some drama, multiple media organizations descended. I made sure to thank Karen after the meeting for all the free publicity.
