On Match 6th, 2018, I bought my first make money online course on how to trade stock options.
And even though I lost like $600 trying to trade options, like what they say about gateway drugs - I was hooked.
I wanted more, I needed more, I wanted to make easy money now.
Was it worth it? Would I do it again?
Well, this is what I learned and what I wish I would’ve known before spending precisely $10,769.46 in online courses.
I bought these courses because I wanted to make money fast
I wanted the blueprint, a step by step guide
So I buy the next course, thinking that this is gonna be it, but then I realize that “this course doesn’t really teach me this thing that I really need to be successful”
And like a gambling addict that thinks his next hand is “gonna be the one” that’s gonna win all his losses back, this cycle repeats 17 times later until we get to today.
At the end of the day, if you want to make money, solve problems, make people’s lives easier, put the customer first.
Look at any successful company and you’ll see that their successful because they understand this fundamental law of money: if you want money, solve problems
And the trap we fall into with these online courses is that you end up focusing on me, me, on ME making money.
How can I land my first SMMA client
How can I get a digital marketing client to pay me $2,000 / mo for me to run the bare minimum Facebook ads for them
So is there something wrong with make money online courses?
No, but the first thing I learned is that if you go into them just focusing on just making money for yourself, it probably won’t work
What course should you get? Digital Marketing? Amazon FBA? Dropshipping?
I’ve tried a lot of different things - SMMA, Dropshipping, sales, and more
But then I tried YouTube, and it was just one of those things that seemed to click with me.
Why? Probably because it’s such a nice mix of both of those things I naturally lean towards - art and technical stuff
Am I saying that you
