I've always said I'd never have a cat because I hate the idea of forcing another creature to live with me. I'd only live with a person, because they can leave whenever they want to. I made an exception because he came to me on his own. He came in on his own; he left on his own. We spent 10 good hours together. He is so cuddly, gentle, loving, and intelligent. At one point, I was cleaning his paws and he took his other paw and put it on my hand, and immediately I understood he wanted me to stop. Never bit, scratched, hissed, or even got upset when I tried to clean his face. And when he wanted to go, all he did was meow. Absolute angel, which is what I originally named him, but I decided Doctor Pumpkin / Pumpkin was much cuter and better for him / her.
