In a nutshell, you should make wig reviews if you: A) Think it's fun B) You avoid putting too much personal info about yourself out there C) You can afford it D) And you aren't addicted to the feedback Only do this because you think it's fun: This CAN be fun, but it can also be very demanding. If you go into this thinking you'll be able to make money doing it, you're in for a real shock! Do it because you want to help people and because you think it's fun. This will make you much happier in the long run. This is a VERY finite niche with a very limited audience. No one is getting rich from wig reviews. So, if you aren't doing it for fun, you will get very burnt out. Avoid putting too much personal info about yourself out there: You can become vulnerable to stalkers, creepers, and trolls very easily when you post personal information about yourself in the public sphere. When it's public, you have NO control over who the audience is. (And, as I describe in the video, even "private" online conversations can be visible to companies and individuals that can afford to see it.) Make sure you keep yourself and your personal info safe! Can you afford it: It costs A LOT of money to make wig reviews at the pace I work at. More than just the initial resources, stores like mine also have an easier time selling reviewed products when we are done with them. The feedback can be addictive: "Cool is being able to hang with yourself." - Prince If you can't "hang with yourself", it can become very compelling to review things just to receive the positive feedback. I know more than one person in the situation where they buy things at a REALLY fast pace to review them only to find themselves unable to pay their bills or at odds with their SO's. To avoid this situation, make sure you refer to the other points here (do it if you can afford it; do it because it's fun). As I mention in the video, I LOVE selling hair to people, but I don't like feeling like I'm preying upon people's weaknesses and insecurities.
