This is more of a gameplay video than an in-depth graphics showcase, but I think it has a perfect blend of the two and achieves its goal. I hold huge appreciation for the DMC3 engine and I think it's well-deserved, given it's a 60 FPS game running without a hitch with the graphics quality shown here. This is very important considering the game's strong emphasis on stylish gameplay, so it has to be visually strong. The HD and PC versions are simply not. However, DMC3 has finally reached near perfect render accuracy on PCSX2, amounting to PS2 graphics with the benefit of higher resolutions (but not too high). Earlier versions had many imperfections that quite a few people are unaware of, like post-processing absence/misalignments, worse lighting, missing Depth of Field, motion blur and so forth. Not only that, but unfiltered textures are also here, so it looks a hundred times better than the washed out, artificially sharpened mess present in DMC HD Collection.
Here I showcase gameplay and scenery shots from various missions. Comparison videos between this and the so-called "HD Collection" will also be coming up somewhere in the future to a computer near you.
For proper enjoyment, I suggest enabling 4K 60 FPS (when it's done processing). The only reason I upload in this super quality format is due to YouTube's notorious compression.

Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven. In 1933, I get a mission from Frank. I just need to get a car from Ralph and drive to Paulie, who's waiting for me. I'll get my weapons from him. Then I and Paul drive to the countryside to pick up a few loads of whiskey. However, while I discuss with Paulie about me and Sarah, I cannot find Sam. So I go and search for him, but all I find is a dead man in a truck and a group of police with Morello's gangsters. I shoot all my way back to Paulie and tell him what happened. Then we find a steel bar to open a barn in which Sam is locked. As I blast my way through Don Morello's men and cops, I find Sam laying on the ground. Then I protect him while Paulie drives us a truck. It appears that more cars are coming after us, so I take a Thompson from the back of the truck and get ready for action!

Hitman 1: Codename 47. 47 opens the safe and takes the Jade Figure to the agent in Herbal Shop. In return, the old man tells Hitman how to get close to Hong and gives him a flask of poison. However, Hitman doesn't poison Tzun's, the bodyguard's of Lee Hong, food. Instead he rages into action, destroys Tzun and goes after Hong through the secret passage in the basement. When Hitman enters Lee Hong's Head Quarters, he eliminates all within the building and Hong himself. There was no time to read a letter held in Lee's pocket, so agent 47 escaped with a boat. Now Hitman is after a Colombian drug lord, Pablo Belisario Ochoa, in Rambo style! But first he must find a disguise, an ancient and religious idol of the U'wa tribe and a missing tribesman. There is no peaceful solution, unless you get to the idol while it isn't secured by the soldiers of Pablo while in a disguise. Then 47 heads on to free the indian prisoner, frees him and follows him to the U'wa village. See what happens next in next part!

Pirmas mano lietuviškas darbas - pirmoji Hitman: Codename 47 parodijos dalis! Iškart perspėsiu dėl keiksmažodžių: prisiminkite, kad visa tai sukurta juokais. Kūriau dvi, tris dienas po apie keturias valandas, besinaudodamas žaidimo kodais bei programomis. Balsai tikrai ne mano, o robotų. :) Pasirinkau būtent šį lygį, nes jis interaktyviausias, o pasekmės tokios, kad prifilmavau tikrai nemažai medžiagos, tad nesutalpinau į vieną klipą, kas yra gerai. ;) Nežinau kada nusiųsiu kitą dalį, laikas pasakys.
