Finishing the Workshop - P1 - Lining, Insulation and a sort - E12 - The Workshop
So while working on the garden I have also been trying to finish my workshop so I can start getting some projects started for the garden and house. While doing this I realized I have way to much junk so have also had a major sort out lol I hate throwing stuff out lol. Well hope you enjoy. Hit the like if you do and subscribe for more.
So the next instalment, I am splitting the video into two different streams: Inside the Shed and The garden Job. There is as much work is getting done on the garden as in the shed and I feel the video will be too long to watch if I do as one film so have split the films. Work has been a bit slow outside as we have had some terrible weather for a few weeks and an unbelievable amount of rain in one 72 hour period it rained twice and 2 months’ worth of rain fell, crazy. Anyway hope you enjoy and if I can will try and be a bit quicker with my videos.
So I bought another 3D printer. This is Two Trees Sapphire S Core XY printer. This just means the bed goes up and down and the X and Y axis move. It uses a Lerdge X Control board and the printer comes 75% built with all electronics installed etc. You just need to put the frame together and wire. This is just a time-lapse of me putting it together and showing some test prints I did to see if the settings are OK. So far really impressed with the printer but I messed with the profile I made in Simplify 3D and need to look at it as all my prints are falling now lol. So hope you enjoy Subscribe for more and hit the Like button if you enjoyed and any comments are appreciated.
Still loads to do in the garden and spring has sprung so time to plant and removing some trees. Also finish off the Bamboo and some other stuff that needed doing. Still have not come up with any ideas for a better intro so will keep working on that. So hope you enjoy and please hit the Like or Subscribe for more.
Time to sort the room for the 3D printers; it’s a mess. No lights, full of rubbish and it’s hard to film in such a small room. I am trying to save money so I am recycling a lot of wood and other stuff that I kept after finishing the shed and the last house, the materials I am buying are either recycled or seconds from a great second-hand builders yard in Whangarei and it’s a lot cheaper and it’s just a room for printers. I am also having some random issues with the LED lights and the shutter speed on the cameras, sometimes it causes stripping / flickering and then others it does not, so sorry for any bits of film that are well rough. I will do some testing once I have time. So now I can set my printers back up and get some prints going, I have a lot I want to do. Hope you enjoy.
So the first part of making and installing a dust extraction system in the shed, this is just putting together a cyclone I printed in several parts (see below for cyclone link) and testing. Then fixing some issues I had with parts I used. Also my largest print on the Tevo Tornado so far diameter size. Still love the Tornado just prints everything I throw at it time after time. Hope you enjoy.

So it’s time to finish up the deck area. Just finishing up all the small bits and making it look nice. There is still other stuff to do but I have to make some stuff in the workshop first. This also means it’s time to move on to other garden jobs that desperately need doing. Hope you enjoyed hit Like if you did or Subscribe to see more.
So now I have some time as the deck is done I can get some more of the workshop finished off. So I am making some tool Holders finishing the store room and a look around.
So I need somewhere just for the printers. They are a bit loud next to me when on the computer and the new printer will not fit on the desk. This is just a video of me making a shelved unit to put the printers on and store the miscellaneous things that go along with them like filament and some other stuff. There are also some old pictures of the fitted kitchen I built for the house.
Thanks for watching

So crazy year and way behind, months in lock-down and unable to buy anything even online then I fell butted a floor and had a serious concussion that took 12 weeks to get over so time to get back to the work that needs doing oh and filming and making videos lol. Time to make a start on the outdoor area but first we need to repair the fence. Hope you enjoy. I will be getting back to more regular uploads now we can actually do stuff.
