This is video #019 in my playthrough of Final Fantasy IV for the PC. They explored most of the dungeon and made it up to the save room on floor B7. Now, they will face the boss on floor B6. Tower of Babil: The party resumes in the save room on floor B7 in the Tower of Babil. They have mapped out and explored as much of this floor as currently possible. Cecil reaches Level 43. In the southeast of B7, the party takes the door to floor B6. Floor B6 is already mapped out. A scene takes place as the party starts across the bridge to the west. They meet Dr. Lugae, who definitely has a few screws loose. After the scene, the party must face Dr. Lugae and his robot, Barnabas. Barnabas will attack the party while Lugae heals it. To get the most Bestiary entries possible, the party must defeat Barnabas first. The robot is weak to lightning-elemental attacks. If you defeat Barnabas first, Lugae will control the robot himself. This will be Barnabas-Z. Barnabas-Z is also weak to lightning-elemental attacks. If you equip Yang with the Lightning Claws and have him Focus three times during the earlier phase, he will have a good chance of defeating Barnabas-Z in one attack. After the battle, Kain reaches Level 41. Rydia reaches Level 38 and learns the Black Magic spell Blizzaga. Yang reaches Level 44. A brief scene takes place after the battle. Then, it is boss time against Dr. Lugae in a monstrous robotic form. Dr. Lugae can use Reversal Gas. One use of Reversal Gas places the Reverse status effect on him and all party members. Reverse will reverse the effect of healing items and spells. If he uses Reverse Gas again, the Reverse status will be removed. If Dr. Lugae keeps Reverse up, defeating him will be as easy as tossing two Elixirs onto him. If he removes Reverse, things might be more complicated. Fortunately, Dr. Lugae is still weak to lightning-elemental attacks. Yang will do a ton of damage again by maxing his Focus and attacking with the Lightning Claws equipped. Be aware that Dr. Lugae uses Counter: Sleep Gas. If Cecil has the Draw Attacks augment equipped, it will help greatly. After the batle, Rosa reaches Level 39. A scene takes place afterwards. Dr. Lugae leaves behind Lugae's Key. Unfortunately, he also leaves behind a problem! The party must stop the tower's cannons before the cannons annihilate the Dwarves. We regain control of the party on floor B6. For defeating Dr. Lugae, the party earns the Steam achievement "Defeated Dr. Lugae". As a result, he earned a couple more Pieces of Heart and now has a total of fifteen Heart Containers. Now, it is time to return to the Forsaken Fortress and save Aryll. Windfall Island: Link resumes on Windfall Island. He begins sailing west-northwest towards the Forsaken Fortress. He passes through the Spectacle Island square to the west, the Mother & Child Isles square to the west, and the Four-Eye Reef square to the west before he turns north to the Forsaken Fortress square. Forsaken Fortress Square (time 2:22): Night falls as Link approaches the fortress. He baits the Fishman for information regarding Skull Necklaces. Link has Treasure Chart #25 from the Cliff Plateau Isles. This reveals a salvage spot off the southwestern coast of the Forsaken Fortress. Link salvages a chest with a Silver Rupee, worth 200 Rupees. His wallet is happy! The main entrance to the Forsaken Fortress is covered by a wooden barrier to the south. There are also turrets in the vicinity. Link can largely ignore the turrets, but he does have to blast through the barrier with his cannon before he can enter. Forsaken Fortress (time 5:03): A scene with the King of Red Lions takes place when Link arrives inside the Forsaken Fortress. Thanks for the advice, O royal boat. After saving, Link ascends into the courtyard. There are now barriers blocking the southern stairway, and the large doors are barred. A scene takes place when Link approaches one of the barred doors. Phantom Ganon draws near! After the scene, it is boss time against Phantom Ganon. Phantom Ganon lobs a ball of energy at Link. Link must repeatedly bounce it back to Phantom Ganon until it stuns him. While Phantom Ganon is stunned, Link can close in and do some damage. Link also takes the opportunity to take a pictograph of the phantom. Look out for the phantom to materialize behind Link and do a sword attack. A scene takes place after Phantom Ganon is defeated. The doors are unbarred, and a chest appears in the courtyard. Link opens it to acquire the Skull Hammer, which he will need to smash the new barriers. Following Phantom Ganon's defeat, look out for annoying Miniblins in the courtyard. After smashing the southern barriers, Link takes the door to the southeastern room. A Green Bokoblin is now posted here. The rope is gone now, but Link can cross with the shelf along the southeastern wall or the Deku Leaf. After smashing the barriers, Link can take the northeastern door. This is the fourth video in my Final Fantasy XIII-2 playthrough. As Episode 1 begins, we arrive at New Bodhum in the year 3 AF and meet Serah, Lightning's sister. Strange things are happening on the beach: a meteorite is falling, and monsters are attacking. Snow's old buddies from NORA in FF13 are here to defend the town, but the "hero" himself is nowhere to be seen. Fortunately, Noel arrives and brings a weapon to Serah. After some easy battles and scenes, Serah and Noel decide to set off towards the meteorite. However, people's memory of Lightning seems a little different from the end of FF13. What gives? This is video #13 in my playthrough of Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line for the Nintendo Switch. Now, they will head to Hargon's Castle for the final battles. The party resumes in the Rendarak Shrine. To reach Hargon's Castle, they work their way counterclockwise along the mountains surrounding Rendarak. Batmandrills can drop Wailer's Mail. This armour is cursed, but it can be sold for a pretty penny. When the party reaches the southwest of Rendarak, they go north along the eastern shore of the lake and then between the mountains. They soon reach Hargon's Castle. But when they enter the area, they find what looks like Midenhall! Something is clearly wrong with this picture. Eventually, the party uses the Eye of Rubiss. This dispels Hargon's illusion and reveals the true form of Hargon's Castle. On 1F, there are no random encounters to worry about. However, if the party examines the spirits flanking the throne, they encounter two Batmandrills in separate groups. They should not be a problem if the party has trained up in Rendarak. Just northwest of the throne, there is a hidden Gold Key door north of the second damage tile from the west. This takes them to a U-shaped corridor of damage tiles. In the room to the northwest, they find a chest with a Devil's Tail. In the room to the northeast, they find a chest with a suit of Wailer's Mail. In the southern part of the U-shaped corridor, they go through a Gold Key door to the north into a room with a cross-shaped formation. There is a sigil at the cross's intersection. While standing there, they use the False Idol. The party is transported to floor 2F. Random encounters begin appearing here. To the north and east, they find the next stairway. The party goes up to 3F. The path is straightforward. The next stairway is in the northwest. The party continues up to floor 4F. The path here is also straightforward. However, when the party approaches the stairway, they encounter the first boss, a massive Cyclops named Atlas. Atlas is a physical brute that can attack twice in a round. After defeating Atlas, the party continues up to 5F. The next stairway is in the northwestern room. However, when they enter the room, they encounter the second boss, Pazuzu. Pazuzu relies on spells. He can use Kamikazee at low HP. Fortunately, my party did not see that. The party continues up to 6F, where a bridge leads to the eastern tower. As they approach the next stairway, they encounter Hargon's third and toughest servant, Belial. Belial has the spells Fullheal and Kaboom at his disposal.
