Spacechem is a chemistry themed puzzle game where you 'program' reactors to make them perform chemical reactions to solve problems. The actual game mechanics are more akin to programming, but for science nerds like me this is one of the best puzzle games out there.
Return of the Obra Dinn is the brainchild of Lucas Pope, best known for Papers Please. The game is another experiment in story telling using a unique 1 bit colour depth graphics system combined with a game mechanic that involves investigating the fate of the crew and passengers using a magic pocket watch.
This is only a demo, it's not even the first demo of the game that has been released, but it's shown a lot of progress in terms of visual design.

After Apollo 11 returned from the Moon they were picked up by the USS Hornet, and that's where Neil Armstrong took his first steps back on Earth. Today this ship is a floating museum in Alameda full of exhibits covering it's various roles in wartime and peace, it's a pretty cool place for fans of history.

A question was asked on the way to school - how big would ENIAC have to be to have the same computational capabilities as an iPhone.
This is of course not even remotely correct....

The new expansion for Kerbal Space Program adds a bunch of extra mechanics - a real legitimate use for rovers, more reasons to bring scientists and engineers, and of course robotic parts.
Of course, these have been seen in mods in the past, but having them officially maintained really helps the game.
Many of the vehicles in this video are from the Steam workshop - created by other users.

Lots of Launches already in 2023, China and SpaceX are both throwing lots of rockets up there. Virgin Orbit and ABL Space Systems both attempted launches which ended in failure, with ABL only rising a few hundred feet before all the engines shut down and the rocket fell back onto the launch site.
Elsewhere there are a pair of small NASA spacecraft having trouble getting to the moon due to engine problems, and some amazing images of the permanently shadowed regions of the moon from the Shadowcam payload on Korea's Danuri spacecraft.

The latest update completely changed the ship classes in the game, some got roles swapped, stats changed, or even moved up Tiers. Modules are now much more specific to a spacecraft's role so that you can't even fit tactical modules on a ship unless it matches the ship's role. A lot of new modules were added, some were removed, everyone now has to refit their ships.
There are definitly upsides to this patch, unlike the previous one where nothing good came of it.

Another quick video while I'm on holiday, looking at the Haystack plugin which adds a new ship selection menu to the map screen making it easy to switch to or target objects even if they're embedded in a Kessler sized cloud of debris.
