If you are not using a germination chamber to germinate seeds, you should.
Use a germination chamber to get the appropriate temperature and humidity to germinate seeds. Different seeds germinate better at different temperatures. For example, tomatoes and peppers germinate best at 80 degrees, lettuces germinate best at 70 degrees.

Things you will need. An old refrigerator. Do not use a wine cooler like I did. It works but a refrigerator will provide you with more space and better insulation. You will also need 2 ink bird temperature controllers.

You will need some source of heat. I like to use an aquarium heater and a tray of water along with a little forced air heater.

Hey what’s going on! You know compost doesn’t have to be fancy. You don’t need a bunch of crap to make good compost. All you really have to do is pile a bunch of organic matter up and let it sit for about a year. Go ahead and turn it if you feel so inclined but it’s not necessary.
A couple of key points when making a compost pile.
1. Try to put it in a somewhat shady spot. Don’t let it dry out, but don’t let it get over saturated.
2. Keep a 2:1 ratio of brown to green with organic matter. But don’t get to concerned about this, just don’t over do it on one thing.
3. Do the sniff test to see if it’s ready. Good compost has a nice earthy smell and a fluffy texture. If it’s stinky then you did something wrong.

Two trips and finally got everything moved. Wasn’t able to get an update on the buckets because of the rain. But will update soon.

I like to water my seedlings from the bottom. If you water from the bottom you can go several days without watering as opposed to over head.

I was walking around Jefferson TX, when I ran into Mr. Merril. He and his why were trying to get a selfie, and I assisted in taking their picture. Turns out it was his 72 birthday. 72 is a good number to be at, this was Mr. Merril’s best peice I’d advise.

The Real Problem with Texas right now is not the power grid, it’s not green energy, it’s not the politics. It’s the fact that we have become less than what we were! This is my opinion, sorry for the curse words.
