Five Pepper Homemade chili is mind blowing. Each pepper adds it's own flavor profile which elevates the dish even more. After doing research on curries I realized that chili is an American Curry. It has almost all the same ingredients, and the process is identical.
I know you will enjoy this meal. Make sure to share it with your family and friends.
This hatch chili cornbread recipe is a keeper. Now that it's hatch chili season let's put hatch peppers in everything. Lol. This bread in particular is good with Texas Chili, Ranch style beans, or with a thick pat of butter.
Enjoy making this. And send me pictures.
Ingredients
* 1 cup flour
* 1 cup yellow cornmeal
* ¼ cup granulated sugar
* 2 teaspoons baking powder
* ½ teaspoon baking soda
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 large egg beaten
* ⅓ cup milk
* 6 tablespoons melted butter
* 1 cup sour cream
* 4 ounces diced green chiles
* 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
Mix the dry and wet ingredients separately at first. When you mix them together make sure you don't overbeat the batter or Masa as I call it.
Have your oven preheated to 400 and bake t for 25-35 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.

In this video I make the best salsa verde for beef tongue tacos. It's a recipe my Ita passed down to me and now I'm passing it to you.
⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ RECIPE BELOW ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
You don't have to use it with beef tongue if you don't like. It's a basic guisados recipe salsa you can use with chicken, beef, turkey, or any protein. The tomatillos are slightly tangy and make accompanies the flavor of the meat perfectly. Most Mexican recipes are either red or green and when the recipe is a green salsa recipe it's this one.
Ingredients:
1 lb Tomatillos
2 serrano peppers (once cooked the spiciness is all but eliminated)
1/2 onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp of salt
A few tablespoons of oil
Directions:
Peel and wash the tomatillos, and place all the vegetables in a pot of boiling water.
Remove the vegetables after the tomatillos began changing color. (about 5-7 mins) Set them aside and allow them to cool about 10 mins.
Once warm to the touch, blend the vegetables in a blender adding about 2 tbsp of oil, until smooth.
In a hot skillet with about a tbsp of oil add the blended sauce.
Cook the sauce for about 5-7 mins.
Add the meat and continue to simmer for another 10 mins.

Not just in America, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches are found all over the world. Here's my take on this classic cheesy goodness.
⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ RECIPE BELOW ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
I use Mayonnaise to allow the bread to cook longer and at a higher heat to crisp up the outside which giving the cheese on the inside time to melt. American Cheese is crucial to add a gooiness to the sandwich. And of course, everything's better with bacon and I added it to this dish as well.
The bacon isn't a deal breaker. If you would rather use turkey bacon that's fine. Or soy bacon that is fine too....I wouldn't recommend it but you can. :)

Tortas or sandwiches are just as latin as tacos. You can find them throughout South America in all manner of shapes and sizes and of course with all manner of fillings. One of my fond memories of tortas was eating them from the cafeteria at the secondary school in Delicias Chihuahua, called 20-30. (Veinte Treinta) https://www.prepa2030.com.mx/ The cafeteria offered mostly to-go foods like empanadas, burritos, cookies, and tortas. The rest of the fast food they offered was mass produced from a Company called Marinela, like gansitos, and pinguinos.
The tortas offered in my school were slathered in mayonnaise, with three slices of ham, two slices of tomato, shredded lettuce and two slices of pickled jalapeño sandwiched within a bolillo bread. The torta came wrapped in a thin wax paper and they sold for the equivalent of five cents.
In Lima, Peru there was a torta place in Miraflores my family and I liked to go to where they offered a menu full of different tortas including one with spaghetti and cheese. (I never tried that one.)
This torta is delicious. You can make it easily enough with your favorite white bread. Although the traditional torta is sandwiched in a bolillo bread I've enjoyed tortas in any bread with some sort of crust on it. i.e. like a Po' boy, or lobster roll bread.
