Awesome Golf is a golf game where players compete in matches on various golf courses set across three countries of the world.
There are three game modes and multiple golfers to choose from at the main menu:
Medal is the main single-player mode where one player participates in 18 holes.
Practice, as the name implies, is essentially a training mode where players can refine their skills.
Driving mode. Before starting each mode, players can configurate a set of options on the menu screen such as the number of holes to play through
Pac-Attack is a falling tile puzzle game, similar to Tetris and Columns.
The player drops down formations of blocks and ghosts onto the playfield, the objective being to score as much points possible before the pieces reach the top of the screen.
Blocks can be cleared by matching them in horizontal rows that touch both ends of the playfield, however ghosts can only be cleared by placing down a Pac-Man piece, which will eat any ghosts in his path
The mysterious enemy known as DOH has returned to seek vengeance on the Vaus space vessel. The player must once again take control of the Vaus (paddle) and overcome many challenges in order to destroy DOH once and for all. Revenge of Doh sees the player battle through 34 rounds, taken from a grand total of 64.
Ancipital is a typical Jeff Minter game with no storyline and an unusual setting. You play the role of what looks like a yak which can walk on two legs and shoots at enemies with bananas. At least in the first screen; the projectiles change in different levels. You can jump and flip upside down onto the ceiling to attack your foes.
The gameplay involves you shooting at enemies until the floor or walls change to let you move to the next screen which can be seen on the map in the corner of the screen. Each level has different themes ranging from skull and crossbones to cigarette papers and lighters.
Pokémon Pinball is a pinball-based Pokémon spin-off video game for the Game Boy Color.
Like any pinball game, the main objective is to get points, using the different modes of advances to score them at a higher rate. Pokémon Pinball has a secondary objective hinted at by the tagline "Gotta Catch 'em All," which is to collect all 151 Pokémon to fill your Pokédex.
The Pokédex is saved between individual games, so it can be built up over time.
The plot of the game involves a dystopian television show during the then-future year of 1999, where one or two "lucky" contestants must shoot their way to fame and fortune; the show is filmed in front of a live studio audience with broadcast via satellite worldwide.
The goal of the game show is to kill or be killed, and once all of the challengers in each arena have been massacred, the contestant(s) will proceed to survive the next gauntlet.
At the end of the game is a showdown with the show's host where players are finally granted their life and freedom. Among the game's items are keys.
If enough are collected, players can access a bonus level called the Pleasure Dome where players can "collect" hundreds of scantily clad women akin to other prizes in the game
A different game, quite challenging and fun
Final Fight 2 supports two-player simultaneous play and has a total of three playable characters.
