DIY How To Change A Rear Tail Light Bulb On A 2009 Pontiac G6 and Save $40
http://CollisionBlast.com - - DIY How To Change A Rear Tail Light Bulb On A 2009 Pontiac G6 and Save $40. - Hello Donnie Smith here, in today's video I am going to show you how to replace a rear tail light bulb. This will save you $40 when replacing a bulb on a 2009 Pontiac G6. The part only costs two dollars and only takes 5 min. to install. The first thing you want to do is remove the cargo net. There is an upper and lower attachment where it is attached. Simply pull the cargo net over the knob to remove. Then unscrew by hand the knobs that the cargo net was attached to you. Once those two knobs, the upper and lower, are removed you can pull back the truck interior carpet piece that covers the taillight. Next, once you have that interior carpet pulled back, it is not necessary to remove the complete interior just pull it back far enough to gain access to the two bolts underneath. Once this is done using a 10 mm wrench or a simple crescent wrench removed the two bolts holding the tail light in. Now removed the taillight assembly which will pull out from the car body. Next twist the tail light bulb connection to removed from the taillight housing. Then simply pull the bulb out of the socket. The part number will be labeled on the bulb itself. I believe this bulb was a 1157. You should be able to get one of these from any parts store. If in question, take the bulb with you to show the parts salesperson. After you get the new bulb pushed back into the socket. A test can be done at this time to assure the bulb is now working. Now basically just reverse the process, put the taillight assembly back on to the car body. Before securing it may be wise to check it one more time to make sure everything is working correctly. Now secure the two boats using a 10 mm ranch or crescent wrench, to secure the two knobs that hold the interior trim piece in him reattach the cargo net and you're done. That is all there is to it which only takes 5 min. and cost only costs two dollars for the part. Thanks for watching. This video is about a bad experience with fraud from an auto transport company,Universal Transport LLC . I needed a pickup hauled and filled out a quote online. Well, I have not worked with auto transport companies much and I believe I was scammed. In this video, I hope to get help for a solution and help others from the same scan.

The front end parts were already removed when we bought the car. I will have to find and replace those parts when we start putting the car back together. Next, we removed the front fenders. As we mention in the video, one of the most important steps is keeping your hardware and parts organized. Whether you are going to have a car tore apart for a few weeks or a few years, this will make the reinstallation much easier.
One way to do this is to get some zip lock bags and label one for each panel that you remove. Put all the hardware and small parts into the bag and label the bag accordingly. Another way is to screw the bolts back into the bolt hole after the part has been removed. This work well, but may get in the way when working or painting the parts. Whatever method you choose, just make sure everything will be easy to lay out and put back together when the time comes.
You may have to remove adjacent parts to get to the part you are wanting to remove. On the mustang, we had to remove the rocker panel molding, to give us full access to the fender. Once the molding was removed, we removed the right front fender by using a 1/2 socket, 1/2 wrench, phillips screw driver, and the bags and marker to properly store the hardware.
Tips:
Some of my students have been confused which is the right side and the left side of the vehicle. The way you determine which side is which is to sit in the vehicle. When sitting in the car, youll notice your right hand is your passenger side, which is the right side of the car and your left hand will be the drivers side, which is the left side of the car.
If you project is going to be tore apart for a long time you may consider taking pictures before you tear it apart. This will help you remember how things go back together.
If you have bolts that are hard to remove, you may try to heat the nut or bolt using a small torch. Be careful not to burn any wires or get close to anything flammable.

This Auto Body Repair video is the last part of answering a question of how to prepare and complete a car for artwork. We did not spend much time on airbrushing as Danielle, the girl that asked the question, already know how to airbrush. The question was how to prepare a car finish and clear coat it to ensure the artwork stays protected.
Part 1 - Clean and Scuff
Part 2 - Clean and Mask
Part 3 - Clean, Airbrush and Clear Coat
Are you starting to see a pattern? Proper cleaning is an important more of this type of work.
Part 3
1. Wipe with wax and grease remover
2. Tack off with tack rag
3. Artwork, Airbrush, Etc.
4. Unmask
5. Wipe again with wax and grease remover
6. Tack surface with tack rag
7. Apply tack coat of clear (optional)
8. Apply 2 full wet or recommended coats of clear
Be sure to allow clear coat to flash the recommended time between coats.
Overlap each coat 50% with your spray pattern.
Keep your spray gun parallel to the surface being sprayed.
Wear approved respirator
Wear gloves when clearing
You may also want to spend more time with the airbrush. In this example, I think some red would have looked good on the flames. If you're going for the ghost effect the same method could be used. Simple use pearls instead of color to outline the flame.
Good Luck! end me a photo or video of your project.

The question: Do they sell epoxy primer in spray cans? In the video, I state that I am not aware of a 2k epoxy product. However, thankful to our YouTube friends, they mentioned a line of paint that does have 2k products in spray cans. If I understand it correctly, you must use all of the primer within a certain amount of time or it will harden. Don't know much about this line of products, but I did a little research and found a resource for it. You can learn more at http://CollisionBlast.com/SprayCanEpoxy
