Pope Francis, on his flight back from Mexico to Rome, told reporters that Donald Trump wasn’t a Christian:
“A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian. This is not in the gospel.”
Hmmmm. Isn’t that just a little political – on the eve of the critical South Carolina primary? Couldn’t that be seen as putting the Papal thumb on the scales in favor of Catholic candidate Marco Rubio?
Here is a Pope who says nothing about President Obama’s stance on gay marriage or abortion, but because Trump wants to build a wall to prevent the decimation of the United States, he gets a papal slam?
Trump hit back hard, but respectfully:
“If and when the Vatican is attacked by ISIS, which as everyone knows is ISIS’s ultimate trophy, I can promise you that the Pope would have only wished and prayed that Donald Trump would have been President because this would not have happened. ISIS would have been eradicated unlike what is happening now with our all talk, no action politicians.”
“For a religious leader to question a person’s faith is disgraceful. I am proud to be a Christian and as President I will not allow Christianity to be consistently attacked and weakened, unlike what is happening now, with our current President.“
“No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man’s religion or faith.”
The internet has exploded with pictures of the giant walls the Pope lives behind in Rome.

It looks like the Donald Trump of Britain - Nigel Farage - may get another shot at a seat in the British Parliament.
A possible re-votemay be ordered due to apparent election fraud on the part of the national offices of the conservative Tory party which engineered Farage’s defeat a year ago.
A British judge has given police investigators more time to investigate whether conservative Tories had exceeded spending limits in their headlong zeal to defeat the outspoken Brexit advocate in his bid to win a seat in the British Parliament.
Each constituency in Britain is limited to spending no more than approximately 15,000 British pounds per parliamentary election – a bit over $21,000.
That’s a little more than one-percent of the amount a member of the U.S. Congress spends on an election.
However, a joint investigation by British Channel 4 News and the “Daily Mail” newspaper found the cost of dozens of hotel rooms were charged improperly to the national Tory party’s office, instead of the spending returns of the eventual Tory winner of the seat, Craig Mackinlay.
The hotel rooms were used by Tory officials, consultants and activists sent into Farage’s constituency to engineer his defeat last May.
As a result, District Judge Justin Barron ruled against Tory attempts to block the investigation, saying the case was:
"… wholly exceptional [with a] very significant public interest in the matter being fully investigated."
"The consequences of a conviction would be of a local and national significance with the potential for election results being declared void."

Despite desperate candidates attacking him, and a hostile audience supplemented by electronically-enhanced clapping and booing, Donald Trump crushed his Republican opponents in overnight online polling.
In the Time magazine poll, with over 46,000 votes by 6 am this morning, Trump trumped his closest competitor, Marco Rubio by a whopping 51%.
As of 7:15 am, with 300,000 votes in, the Drudge poll – the largest – showed Trump beating Cruz by a 57 to 20% margin, with Rubio coming in at just under 12%.
In the Crooks & Liars online poll of over 10,000 voters, Trump beat Rubio by over 50 percentage points – 64 to 13.
The Right Scoop poll of nearly 14,000 voters saw Trump with an unbelievable 75 to 11% lead over Cruz, with Rubio only getting 7.5%.
Twitter mentions during the debate: Trump 40, Bush 20, Cruz 14, and Rubio 13.
Finally, Google Trends, which measures who was searched more, Donald Trump won in all 50 states.

Hillary Clinton Looks Scary One Week After Election
One week after the election, Hillary Clinton was coaxed back onto the stage and it’s no exaggeration to say that she looked a fright.
After the election there were reports that Clinton struck some of her aides violently as flew into alternating moods of intense crying and violent rage.
Well, a week later she appeared at the Children’s Defense Fund gala and said:
"I know many of you are deeply disappointed about the results of the election. I am too, more than I can ever express."
Unfortunately, the founder of the Children’s Defense Fund in 1973, Marian Wright Edelman, a longtime friend and mentor joined Clinton on stage and announced that because Clinton was still leading in the popular vote:
“… we’re going to say she’s the people’s president.”
Well, Clinton is still leading in the popular vote only because the absentee ballots have not yet been counted and in some states, and will not be counted if the total number of absentee ballots in that state could not swing their Electoral College vote.
Best guess – once all the absentee ballots that are going to be counted are counted, Trump will win the popular vote as well, because the military votes by absentee and they heavily support Donald Trump.
And that’s not even counting millions of illegal aliens voting and other voting fraud scams which the Monster vote for Trump completely overwhelmed 10 days ago.

Brexit leader Nigel Farage has been invited to attend the Republican Convention in Cleveland next week.
Farage said to USA Today:
"Having criticized President Obama for getting involved in British politics, I am not about to endorse anybody.”
Prior to Britain’s Brexit vote, President Obama traveled to London and urged the British people not to leave the European Union or they would find themselves at the “back of the queue” when it came to trading deals with the United States.
That comment was wildly unpopular with the British people and is seen as having boosted the long-simmering popular revolt that led to the surprising Brexit exit vote on June 23 – now dubbed British Independence Day.
Farage declined to mention who exactly invited him, but denied it was Donald Trump.
“I do know a lot of people in the Republican Party, and I'll be interested to hear what Donald Trump has to say in his big speech."
