EEVblog #581 - How To Do Kickstarter Surveys & Project Management
Dave takes you behind the scenes on his Kickstarter campaign to show how easy it is to use the dreaded "Survey" feature to get backers address details. Also an insight into the project stats available and database CSV export functions. This is a video for those curious to know how Kickstarter works from the point of view of a project creator. Some people have said Dave is asking too much for a hobbyist/student employee to have basic design, layout, construction, debugging, and firmware skills.
Naturally Dave thinks that's bullshit, and that is in fact the *definition* of a good hobbyist.

(Since modified to highlight I'm not after professional level skills, if that wasn't already obvious)

Dave tries out the new DS1054Z firmware from Rigol that is supposed to fix the 5us delay jitter issue, and the AC Trigger Coupling jitter issues.
Have they fixed it, or is there still a problem?
What caused the 5us jitter issues to begin with, Dave also investigates the ADC PLL based sample clock with an e-Field probe and the Rigol DSA815 spectrum analyser.
Did Rigol also change the PLL coefficients?

Dave takes you step-by-step through his video editing, rendering, and transcoding process for an EEVblog video using Sony Vegas / MovieStudio & Handbrake x264.
Note this is NOT a tutorial, it's a mostly live walkthrough of editing an actual EEVblog video, so lots of waffle.
