Sermon by Matt Trewhella on 8/24/2000
Many falsely believe work to be a curse because of what the Lord said about it after the fall took place. The truth is work is a God-given function for man in the earth. This sermon establishes the theological foundations for work, and also offers practical advice on how to see it accomplished through our lives by looking at four areas:
1.God condemns laziness and intends for us to work hard
2. The Scriptures stand in opposition to retirement
3.The Scriptures stand in opposition to state licensure for work
4.The Scriptures teach that God is our Provider

Sermon by Matt Trewhella on 5/26/2012
This sermon demonstrates the providential hand of God in the history of men by showing how He preserves His Word and furthers His kingdom in the earth. The sermon shows the connection between John Wycliffe from the 14th century, and John Hus who was prominent in the 15th century, and Martin Luther who was prominent in the 16th century. Wycliffe and Luther were hounded by the religious and civil authorities, and Hus was martyred by the religious and civil authorities.
