In this powerful interview I talk with Kazu Kibuishi and Jason Caffoe about their journey making the comics Amulet and Explorer. Kazu and Jason make it a point to say that it's not just about making comics for your own needs and fulfillment, but to carefully consider making your comic to peak the interest of others as well. The duo talk a lot about working as a team and many of the challenges that they didn't initially expect from the creative process.
Although not all of Kazu's & Jason's intended audience have been engaged -- a new and unexpected audience has bloomed in its place and allowed an opportunity to adapt accordingly.
