A bunch of people have asked me how to learn SQL and I see the question on forums quite often. I thought I would make a simple video explaining the basics of SQL. I use databases from time to time at work and on personal projects and I find them pretty easy to work with. Nevertheless, I remember my first programming job was to port data from Microsoft Access to Postrgres and I remember feeling like I was drowning because I had never heard of a database, and had no idea what Access was, how to use it, and how it was different from Postgres. A few years later I feel comfortable working with these tools and hope to share the knowledge I wish I had as a beginner with some beginners.
