A very simple way to move some of your vegetable plants around the garden in an emergency. But many plants like brassicas, tomatoes or sweetcorn benefit from being moved at the planting out stage as they like to be set deeper anyways. To simply sow them inside in a holding bed works well and then transplanting them out into the permanent planting spot is one method used by many gardeners. Even when planting trees this is the standard method used. Generally you can transplant nearly all plants in this way, but of course planting depth is important and also when needs to be considered too.

This natural soap plant is extremely soapy, way more than even soapwort. You probably have it already in your garden and it has the extra benefit of being antibacterial.
